ValoneVillage Backups privacy

ValoneVillage Backups is a personal tool operated by its owner, contactable through the support address displayed on its Google authorization screen. Its Google Drive integration is currently being prepared. Automatic backup delivery has not yet been activated.

The integration requests drive.file permission to create, read and maintain its backup files, or files explicitly selected for the application. Setup checks the Google account email and permission identifier to confirm the intended account. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files.

The intended implementation stores its Google client credential and refresh token in Cloudflare's secret storage. Those credentials allow the server to refresh access without asking the owner to sign in for every backup. Backup files are intended to be encrypted before upload. A recovery key must be retained separately from the backup files. Implementation and recovery checks must be completed before activation.

Google account access and backup contents are used only for backup, verification and owner-requested recovery. This tool does not use Google user data for advertising, sale or training AI models. The intended storage services are Cloudflare for application operation and credential storage, and Google Drive for encrypted backup files.

The owner can revoke the application's access through Google account permissions. Revocation stops future access but does not automatically delete existing backup files. File retention and deletion controls must be documented and reviewed before activation; this draft promises no automatic deletion schedule.

Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
